WITH THE STUDIO OF KEVORK KILEDJIAN

Barbara Bernard Backstage at Kevork Kiledjian FW 11 12

TV Producer and Fashion Dependant from the French TV Station TF1 Barbara Bernard came backstage at our FW 11 12 Show, and how excited we are to share this little segment she did with Kevork. Even if you don’t speak French, it’s a wonderful glimpse into Le Diable Au Corps World Kevork Kiledjian created for the runway at Milk.

How excited we are to share this amazing video capturing the days to hours before our first runway show. Filmed by Nicholas Routzen, and edited by Jake Wiens, Le Diable Au Corps comes to life showcasing all the hours put in by the amazing team at our studio on Crosby, right to those in charge of the finishing touches before the models hit the Milk Runway. Casting by Natalie Joos, Hair by Kevin Ryan for RSESSION Tools, Make Up by James Kaliardos and the MAC Team, Jewelry by Tom Binns, and OW! handling our PR, it truly brought us to tears watching the moment come together. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Kevork Kiledjian presented his first runway show to a packed house at MAC & Milk in New York City. Jewelry was provided by Tom Binns, styling by Fanny Bourdette-Donon, hair for the show was by Kevin Ryan for R Session Tools and makeup by James Kaliardos for M•A•C PRO

Autumn / Winter 2011-12 Collection Statement Statement
In a suppressed World where few were brave enough to listen to their inner voice, Tamara de Lempicka lived an authentic life without fear or conformity. She was the catalyst for today’s woman Kevork Kiledjian envisioned in this Collection: an indefinable being, intelligently confident in their environment. At its foundation, the Collection is a study of life’s opposites: fabrics and desires that only in contrast create harmony. Tamara knew this inherently. Centered upon a ballet of black, purple, camel, and gold; Kiledjian’s latest Collection reflects what it means to be radical; trusting oneself by ignoring the outside chatter. Fitted silhouettes and asymmetrical lengths echo Kiledjian’s desire to remember the physical. The conscious reveal of skin with a slit, open back, or fringe augment the Kiledjian dimension. Opulent feather print blouses, tailored leather jackets, and colorful fur mark a new time, when one forgets to fear.

Things have been at full speed here ON CROSBY as we are rapidly approaching the first Kevork Kiledjian Runway Show at Milk Studios.

This season Mac & Milk has teamed up with Livestream to invite you into the shows live from the Second Floor Gallery Space at Milk.  We couldn’t be more excited to pull back the curtain into the world of Kevork Kiledjian this season.

RSVP on the Kevork Kiledjian Livestream Channel to receive an email reminder 30 minutes before the show, and then tune in on Valentine’s Day, Monday, February 14th at 6pm EST to share the experience with us.

Outside has returned to “normal” temperatures here On Crosby after a dreadful day of well below freezing temperatures.

We are now less than three weeks out from the runway show at Milk Studios, and things are in full speed here at the studio.  We can’t wait to finally share everything we have been working on!

Snow Day, South of Houston

Park Here, An Indoor Pop Up Park in NoLIta
It has been well below freezing here On Crosby in Manhattan’s SoHo, but luckily our neighbors over on Mulberry Street have turned their Openhouse Gallery space into an indoor park for the rest of the month of January.
Not only does it provide an escape from these January temperatures and lack of sun, but planned activities include daily yoga, movie nights, dinner parties, bocce ball, croquet, and local eats from some of our favorites — luke’s lobster, mexicue, daniel boulud, the little owl, the fat radish, and nobu.  Did we mention fireworks?

Good Morning SoHo.

We always love a good fire escape.
